Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the HanGo mobile application ("App") operated by Project No Meaning ("we," "our," or "us").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, subject to the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

2. Subscriptions

The App offers optional auto-renewable subscription plans ("HanGo Pro") that provide access to additional features and content.

• Payment: Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation of purchase.
• Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Management: You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings.
• Price Changes: Subscription prices may change. You will be notified in advance of any price changes, and your continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
• Free Trial: If a free trial is offered, the unused portion of any free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

3. Content and Intellectual Property

All content within the App, including but not limited to text, vocabulary data, audio recordings, graphics, and software, is the property of Project No Meaning and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Create derivative works based on the App
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent

4. User Conduct

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of language learning. You may not use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

5. Local Data

The App stores your learning progress, preferences, and settings locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your device. We are not responsible for any loss of locally stored data.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The content is completely accurate or up-to-date
• The App will meet your specific learning requirements

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PROJECT NO MEANING SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

8. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of their provisions. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete it from your devices.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Third-Party Terms

Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's terms and policies, including the Licensed Application End User License Agreement. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's terms, Apple's terms shall prevail to the extent of the conflict.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
